Connie has a Master of Education in Special Education and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, K-8, from Texas A & I University, Kingsville, TX.  She has endorsements in Special Education, Kindergarten, Early Childhood for the Handicapped and Elementary Physical Education.  Special trainings include Dyslexia training from Neuhaus Education Center, Reading Recovery and Guided Reading from University of Houston Clear Lake, TX, Co-operative Learning from University of St. Thomas, and Capturing Kids Hearts.  Her experiences include Special Education, Early Childhood for the Handicapped, Dyslexia tutorials, Reading and Math tutorials, Response To Intervention K-4 Interventionist, Academic Coach, and Reading Recovery. She taught thirty-eight years in Texas public schools. Connie also has been honored as a two time recipient of Teacher of the Year Award from two different campuses.  

Sandra has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Texas State University.  She has specialized training as a dyslexia therapist from Neuhaus Education Center, Reading Recovery and Guided Reading  from the University of Houston at Clear Lake.  Other areas of training include Cooperative Learning from University of St. Thomas, Capturing Kids Hearts and Remediation for Reading and Math.  She has worked as an ESL teacher and Reading and Math Assessment Personnel. She taught thirty-eight years in Texas public schools. She received special citations from the Mayor's office of Texas City and the White House upon her retirement.
